Detail of an oil painting on wood depicting a view of a town in the Emilian countryside with a post-impressionist flavour, by the artist Gaetano Pancaldi (1922-2014). The representation of nature and daily life were among the artist's favorite subjects, who was very active and well-known in the Modena area due to his activity as a poster designer for the Communist Party of Modena and the numerous exhibitions he held.
